Holmes Bend Campground, located in Adair County, is a class A campground with 125 campsites. Sites 1-23 are non-electric, primitive sites while sites 24-125 provide electric hookups. Forty-one sites also have water hookups provided. The campground is scheduled to open for the 2010 season on April 16 and will close on October 23 and camping fees will range from $17 - $23 (depending on site type). Washhouse and restroom facilities are located in the campground along with potable water and dump stations. A nature trail and play area are also available. Location wise, Holmes Bend is located in the central time zone and is near Columbia, KY. Day-use fees are collected at the Corps boat ramp and a (reservable) picnic shelter is also nearby. A concessionaire marina is also located in this recreation area.
